Lead Engineer (Digital Transformation) - West London / Surrey

Industry leading company within the Marketing & Advertising domain are seeking an addition to their team for a Lead Engineer - could this be what you have been looking for?
Situated in the City of London and with an office based down in Surrey, this opportunity of Lead Engineer will offer you a challenging yet rewarding chance to be both hands-on and hands-off in a talented and forward thinking team.
This role of Lead Engineer will see you providing technical and technology development expertise and see you mentoring and inspiring a team of Software Engineer(s) to ensure of delivery of new, cutting-edge applications and technologies, and to update existing technologies and in-house applications.
You as the Lead Engineer will champion and be the "go-to" within the Engineering team, whilst being able to walk stakeholders through technologically focused issues, researching methods of coming up with and implementing solutions and encourage a learning culture.
You may also be required to review work completed by other Engineers and provide advice and guidance to ensure solutions are "cutting-edge" and the "most up-to-date" for its availability!
Key requirements / additional information to consider:
- Agile working environment - be fully immersed
- Familiar with TDD (Test Driven Development) workflows
- Working knowledge and understanding of Java application / language
- SQL / No-SQL
- Spring MVC / Spring Boot
- AWS (Amazon Web Services) / Cloud Technologies
- CI (Continuous Integration) systems
